The reason they brougth Lito in was because he has elite speed and is a decent cover corner, and the one thing Revis lacks is elite speed to keep up with the faster of the wideouts we face. We saw that when Ginn torched DR on that Monday night game. Lowery and Strickland also lack that speed. Lito won't be staying, that is for certain, but we need to find a guy that can cover and still keep up with the burners, because the fastest healthy corner we have is Coleman, and he is terrible.
With the Jets having to give Leon, Braylon, and Mangold all new contract extensions there's no fucking way we can re-sign Lito, Lowery and Strickland will do just fine.
Lito sucks and if you ask me, Stickland has been the surprise of the FA signings. Lowery has come on in his time off the bench and i'd love to see him start the remainder of the season.

We've drafted enough linebackers in the last 3 years, plus we acquired Pace via free agency. 2010 can be a linebacker free draft as far as I'm concerned. DL, yes, we need that, OL, hell yes we need that too. But not LB.
shep is good but hes proven he cant play a full season so if he wants to be signed by the jets im guessing hes released and repicked up at a fraction of his asking price.
