    You guys can quote me on this: the Seahawks are not taking Sanchez at 4. Which means Sanchez will be there at the 8th spot. I'm a gambler so I say go for it.

    now i REALLY dont want sanchez but moving up to 8 wouldnt be the worst thing,

    Worst case we get Sanchez...DANM IT

    But we could also get Maclin or Crabtree or even Raji

    This rumor is total BS. When did you ever hear of a team making this kind of move 3 days before the draft? It would be upsurd and totally embarassing for the Jets if they were to do it and Sanchez not there at 8. I can't remember ever any team moving up in the draft before draft day.

    we traded up on Friday for DRob.

    But my personal feeling is that Tannenbaum likes being in the news and that this will be just like the Cutler rumors - a lot of show, no go.

    Unless you posted this in complete jest, these have got to be the two most ridiculous reasons I've ever heard for drafting a QB in the 1st Round.

    Please clarify before you are completely ridiculed. I'm hoping you're being facetious.

    I agree. If they make this kind of trade the new GM is going to need all of the picks he can muster next year to start to undo the damage, especially if Sanchez in not there at 8.
