Nah, now we might finally hear the true story of how the whole thing went down and it's possible that a few more people will be going to jail.
Great job by the state police and the rest of the law enforcement agencies that participated in taking down these scumbags.
So Sweat is apparently saying that they did all the cutting with hacksaw blades, without any power tools at all. This only leads me to believe that there was someone else involved who cut the steam pipe for them.
that was a very clean cut for a hacksaw blade. i've done some fabrication and i don't know if could be that straight with an angle grinder
Agreed. The cut was very clean and straight. But it didn't really have to be that straight - they just needed holes to get in and out. So, making it straight would have been a waste of time. Also, he said that they started cutting in January. It's pretty cold up there and the big steam pipe is probably in use throughout April. Did they cut it with hacksaws in one month? I highly doubt that. I think there was someone else, probably a contractor working at that facility. He made the cuts for them using whatever pro tools he had at his disposal.
