I would do this regardless. He's a Pro Bowl OT... Why is he on the block?

WE NEED A PLAYMAKER ON OFFENSE!!!!!!!!!!!! The Jets need to find a way to land Darren McFadden tomorrow. Leon Washington is a playmaker but he isnt an everydown player like DMC could be. We have to get a playmaker. I wouldnt agree with trading down unless DMC was off the board.

  3. I don't think he has the best work ethic in the world and has VERY sloppy technique.

I'd take him off NO's hands in a heartbeat and put him at RT...where he truthfully is better suited than at LT.

The Saints moving up to either 5 or 6 to take Ellis is a win win for the Jets, as far as I'm concerned. Either DMF, Long or McFadden will definitely be there for the Jets and if Ryan is still available, the Jets can try to get Baltimore or Carolina to move up to get him.

The only way in this scenario that McF, Long and Gholston are all gone is if both Dorsey and Ryan drop below 6. I think the more likely scenario is:

    2 - Long
    3 - Dorsey or Ryan
    4 - McFadden / Gholston
    5 - Ellis
    6 - McFadden / Gholston

In addition why would the Saints trade to #6 and give the opportunity for the Pats (or others) to move to #5 and pick Ellis. A trade with KC is the only option.
