He was bothered for the majority of last season with a knee injury...he started 15 games, but it was very noticable that he was injured.

If I recall, it was lingering, but not considered serious. A bone bruise. Missing a whole season sure makes it seem serious, but doctors weren't concerned that it would affect the rest of his career.

A better question is whether his wife is healthy...

He didn't play last year. It's hard to progress when you don't see the field. They had to replace him and his replacement apparently filled in well enough that he's considered expendable.

Still, I don't think we get this deal. If this is what they're offering the Rams to try to secure Dorsey, I'll bet they scale it back if they try to get Ellis.

I was wrong about him missing the season, but he suffered bone bruise early, and sprained a ligament later on in the year.

He played through it, but it showed. He wasn't the same player with the weak right knee.

You're right. My bad. I thought he had missed the season. Looks like he came back and had to leave again.

Jammal Brown, RT Was penciled into the starting lineup from the first day of rookie mini-camp and didn't disappoint even though he missed three games because of an ankle problem. An extremely aggressive player who stands 6-6 and weighs 313 pounds, Brown simply overpowers his opponents -- especially when it comes to run blocking.

Wasnt last year his first at LT I think that might have had something to do with it as well

I would do this trade in a hot minute... and move Woody to RG, where he will be fine next to Brown... we would have arguably the best line in football, and all of them locked up for the next 4 years

HE'S A PRO BOWL LT, SOMETHING WE'LL NEVER GET IN D-BRICK!!!

I'm going with what all you guy's killed me with before, MAKE THE TRADE, TRADE BRICK, AND GET BACK IN THE 1ST ROUND!!!!!!!!!!!!

Then we'll have a pro bowl LT, a good pick at 10, and another 1st rounder. c'mon it's a great deal!!!!!

Can't believe I've just seen this on UK tv.

Had a guy from fox on taliking about the draft and taylors name came up with the whole story. The way he worded it it sounds like a draft day trade so they can get back into round 1. Where is Taylor going to land? Pls not the Pats :gpc:

Why trade away a guy who was a top 5 pick and is only starting his third year in the NFL? thats just retarded. With Brick and Brown starting we have arguably a top 5 Offensive Line. trading one Brick away leaves us where we were, except now our new LT has knee issues... so we actually come off worse for wear by trading Brick....

Hey...with the double trade down & with the Jets' getting 2 new starters {CB & RT} & still have a#1 pick....that would probally help the team better than any 1 star player in the long run. Afterall....Jets' are still in the rebuilding process. THat would make 3 new possible starters after just the 1st round of the draft...thats like having 3 #1 picks. :rofl2:

Taylors past his prime, shepperds always hurt, and your comparing them to a guy in the league for 2 years?

how do you figure we come off in worse shape?

We get 2 1st rounders, AND a pro bowl LT, which brick is NOT!

    i think your arguments retarded
