just remember who started the original analogy to 86......:)

BTW - another injury or 2 and things will start getting eerily similar now wouldn't they.

Why not put "jil" in your signature? It would save you the time to have to type "jil" in every post.

Why do it anyway? It's not like we cannot see your TGG member name.

Or jil could understand that we see his user name to the left EVERY TIME he posts....making it unnecessary to sign your name.

Women do some strange stuff. Then again, Allentown Ernie also signs his name after every post.

It does not pain you to write this if this is your thought process. C'mon man, what is this based upon? We're too good of a road team for this to happen. This team has balls - look at how they've pulled games out this year. There'll be at least one more "out of the fire" win like that this year too. Just wait.

I've been with this team a LONG time too - but I am not feeling that way at all this year. I know it'll be the year we have our first home playoff game since 2002 and possibly our first AFC title game at home since '68.

Those of us who have been fans for a while have seen all the disappointment and heartbreak - 1986, the Pete Carroll collapse, Favre and some awful coaching from Coslet and Kottex, but what let's you think that this team with this coach is going to collapse? Rex has these guys playing hard and we kicked ass down the stretch last year.

All you are doing is basing your prediction on teams of long ago. Different team and a different coach, and I say this as a person who was pessimistic about Mangini and Favre.

Open your eyes - Ken O'Brien and Walton aren't on the sideline.

i figure it takes 1.7 seconds to type the jil so 2500 posts or so gives 4250 seconds with translates to about 70 minutes or so.

been a member since 02 so 9 years thats 7 plus minutes a year.

what would i do with an extra 7 minutes???

maybe an extra bang for mrs jil but that would leave another 3 minutes.....;)

BTF - come on man we all know who is on the sidelines these days. it doesn't compare to back then. but u gotta wonder if history could repeat itself here. believe me i hope not but the scenario to date has been pretty close and the stage is set - big monday night road game against a hated division rival after 11 games - just like in 86.

we all hope the outcome is much different.

MBGreen was making a reference to something that is over his head. He doesn't really have a clue.
