I think the point was, not to speak for someone else entirely, but, A LOT changes from HS to the Pro's. So trying to establish a solid argument on a player In the NFL, based around their HS statistics or ranking, Isn't a sound argument. HS football Is exactly what you say It Is, but, that relevance has an expiration date on It within certain contexts. Most (If not all) of the way you talk about HS football, and the context In which you use It, Isn't relevant. I'm gonna go fly a kite now.
Correct. HS is important for NCAA football, but there are so many variables that affect a player from HS to the pros that your HS recruit status is next to meaningless.
I couldn't disagree more. Trevor Lawrence was the #1 Rated HS QB in the COUNTRY coming out of High School for a reason. And now he's the #1 NCAA QB prospect coming into the NFL for a reason. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.sb...ce-national-signing-day-clemson-justin-fields He's actually one of the highest rated HS QB prospects of All-Time.
I can't figure out what is worse, 2020 and could, how terrible this organization is, or DWC being allowed to pollute this message board...
But I did, maybe you should go back to the original thread on UDFA's and see who said what, sure there was a rugby/cricket/football guy who posted a video clip of him. I didn't write a 1000 page thesis on him with bolded highlights but it was enough. Nice try though. Here this will save you looking for them https://forums.theganggreen.com/thr...e-agent-you-following-in-training-camp.94193/ https://forums.theganggreen.com/threads/2020-undrafted-fa-thread-for-jets.93832/page-8 And this kind of thing is the reason I think you're a twit with an A
If he stopped talking shit it would be a lot easier. ps I don't reply to him for him to read them but for other people to laugh at them
James Harrison played football at Kent State. He was undrafted. 5 times in the Pro Bowl, 2 Super Bowls and the only undrafted player in NFL history to be AP NFL Defensive Player of the Year. Sorry, ----- not sure what he did in high school.
Poole and Maye both rank above average at their respective positions so far this year. I’m not sure how you come to the conclusion that they looked like crap.
Bryce Huff 2020 stats: 6 Tackles (3 for a loss) 2 Assists 1 Sack 123 Defensive Snaps Not bad for a UDFA. If he could build on it next season he could really contribute.
If any of these young Jets players can produce ( and they will) it will make the rebuild that much faster for Joe Douglas. Players like: Sam Darnold Bless Austin Jeff Smith Tarell Basham Mekhi Becton Blake Cashman Folorunso Fatukasi Cameron Clarke Ashytn Davis John Franklin-Myers Bryce Huff Braden Mann Denzel Mims LaMical Perine Bryce Hall Quinnen Williams Jabari Zuniga Start to build your core and then you can create a football identity. This young talent is part of the reason I think the Jets won't get the #1 pick. They will eventually find their footing and win a couple games. I don't think it is a bad thing either, as it can start to build for the future.
That's a pretty unfair take. Kids go under the radar all the time because they didn't go to the right high school or get the right coaching or they're undersized. He's been, by the numbers, an effective pass rusher. He's not Von Miller but he at least looks like a decent rotational player.
