Knicks and Jets slowly rising from the cauldrons of the city sewers. Now if only my Mets can catch some of this magic... Darnold easily looking like the best "Quarterback" in the class. Pocket awareness, Pocket mobility, Going through reads, Arm strength improvement, Poise in traffic combined with his off-field work ethic... Incorporate the adequate talent around this kid and he can flourish. I just hope we dont sign another "#1 receiver" that will force Sam to feed them the ball. Build like New England: 1.Build a line that can actually keep our QB alive for 4QTRS 2.Dynamic catchers out of the backfield that can run for average but also be a threat in the passing game 3.Draft/Sign receivers that can run routes on all three levels and have reliable hands(Sam Decker, Michael Thomas, Kenny Stills, Marqise Lee, Chris Hogan type of guys) 4.Stay away from homerun signings unless they fit a specific need and has longterm AND immediate impact, while also being CAP friendly 5.Execution on special teams. Nothing special, just dont fuck the game up for us Bout to download this Madden rn. Franchise mode gone be lit tonight
I liked Kurt Benkert. He can be a bit erratic but when he was on he was as good as any of the QBs in the draft.
Give them a break guys.. These people are living their dream and I salute them all. Even if they don't make the roster, they can tell their kids they played in the NFL. If even just long enough for a taco.
I actually feel comfortable turning the channel for 30 minutes and coming back knowing my team is being coached and quarterbacked properly
1st half performers: Teddy- really liked seeing him succeed. I REALLY would like to sign him long term and run with Darnold/Teddy for the next 5 years. Crowell- better than what I saw him in Cleveland. Great effort on the TD, but I knew he got hurt on the play. Hope it's short term obviously. Sterling- shocked me with his start with the 1's and his effort on the field. We are loaded at TE, even if unproven. Sterling+Walford+Herndon... Leggett who?? Cannon- Shifty and speedy... nice combo. Will be even better in 2019 if he can add 10lbs in the offseason. Sam- REALLY poised. Looking polished. Can't be more happy with Teddy and Sam. Defense: Entire unit was SOLID.. nobody really stood out much, except the first 2 series, the rookie Shepherd made a couple nice run stuffs at the LOS. No complaints with the entire defense.. none. Special teams: Bertolet has far exceeded what I thought he might do. It's been a great first half !!
your Darnold douchebaggery was noted long ago v v v http://forums.theganggreen.com/thre...nold-moving-forward.90474/page-4#post-3691357 stop digging .
What? This is by far, the most incorrect and highly inaccurate observation ever IMHO. He is exactly the opposite. Please change your Channel to NFL NYJ versus Atlanta. I'm afraid you are watching a rerun of someone else.
@zace the Atlanta 3rd stringers are definitely future Wal-Mart employees, not Costco material. They can’t even line up without a false start.
