Pioli has drafted 1 Pro Bowler in 4 years, Eric Berry. All the other talent on the team (Hali, Flowers, Charles, Bowe) was drafted by Carl Peterson.

Also, notice the Pats drafting has gotten better since 2009? Yeah, Pioli is terrible.

My only knock on Caldwell is 1 year experience as Director of Player Personnel.
It's not like he pulled the trigger on Matt Ryan selection, or made the move for Julio Jones (which i still don't think was a good move anyway).

He would be my 3rd candidate, only due to the experience level compared to Dorsey and Gamble.

Nah, he was let go by the Chiefs because he wants control

We need a GM that will serve under Rex ala Reid in KC

    Nooooooooooooooooo

Once he left the nest of Beliceat he was exposed. He paid Cassel 60 million and it was all downhill from there. K.C was a train wreck the last two years and he stood by and watched. Plus do we really want every Patriot cast off on the Jets.

Was thinking he took over in 08 when they drafted Flowers and Charles.

From the many reports about Pioli he sounds like a control freak nut. The two stories that stick out are the accusations by Todd Haley and others that they believe Pioli bugged their offices and Pioli suspending a low level employee without pay because she did not use "Mr." in front of his name when talking about him to another employee.

Pioli seems 10 times worse than Mangini in terms of being a control freak nut that alienates the rest of the organization.

NO, but thanks for playing. The Pats only got a 2nd rounder for Cassel and Mike Vrabel.

BTW, Cassel was pretty good his first year in KC.
