Where to find Madden Roster updates?

I couldnt find it myself last night so i busted out last years and just made him till i could figure it out today at work.

 

You have to go to play an online game, it's the only way.

Choose "ONLINE" then "PLAY NOW"....it will start to match you then ask if you want to DL the update....so download it, then save it.

Right after you save it, beck out of the game matching screen for your online game.

As far as I know, this is the only way to get it. I don't think you can DL the rosters without going into game matching. kinda stupid...

 

I assumed it would be like that when i went online last night that didnt come up. Ill try again tonight when i get home.

 

Can you verify what console you're using?

 

If you're using the PS3...

...I got a pop-up screen as you hear the "E-A Sports...it's in the Game". The pop up says, "There's an update, would you like to download it? Version 1.0" and everytime I go to load it, it freezes around 27%. Now I don't know if for PS3 users, if that's the roster update...or like Jtuds said earlier, once you go into the game, go to play Online and follow the "Update Roster" directions. Either way, I'm always getting kicked out of the network and it's starting to piss me off.

 

For 360, I just went into Live>Quick Match> Unranked. It then auto updates roster.
NOTE: You don't need to actually play the game. Once it updates you can back out of the lobby with no penalty.

Pennington and Ratliff will be FA's so you need to adjust that yourself.:beer:

 

I just dl it from a ranked matchup. Works just fine for me. The lobbies yesterday however were pissing me off.

 

Same with me. I only got to 16% once though, so you should feel good with 27.

 

The stupid xbox live will not let me go get updates unless I update my live status. Anyone havung this problem?

 

Anybody know where to get the ROSTER updates on the PS3?

I fixed my "freezing" problem. However, I found out the update I downloaded is NOT the "Roster Update". I think it's just something to do with the PS3 itself, because once I loaded this "update" I was still playing with Chad Pennington. So, I go ahead and create my EA account and log on to EA Online. But I still don't know where to locate the ROSTER updates IN the game or in the EA Servers. Can anyone help?

 

I have had no problems with Madden freezing on PS3. When I first got the game, I was able to DL that first thing with no problem,I was also able to DL the roster update with no problem as well.

 

Where do I go to download the roster update?

 

You have to go online, and go play a game, once you do that it will say would you like to DL rosters? click yes, save them, then just leave the screen, you won't get a DNF for that. Then that's it and the rosters will be there.

Find someone who does, and I dont know if the 360 can take a flash drive, but copy the rosters to a flash drive and just move them to your system.
