Honestly, there is a GOD. I will tell you why. I have dreaded the day the Pennington era would end. He has been my favorite player since drafting him in 2000. I wanted him to be a Jet forever and succeed, neither really happened. Could there have been an easier way for me to lose my favorite player? A. I get Brett Favre as his replacement. (1 million times better than Chad) B. He goes to the freaking DOLPHINS! Now I have nothing else to do but hate him. I can't even wish him well. I hope he makes it out of Week 1. It is doubtful. I don't understand this reaction at all. Chad Pennington has every right to make whatever decision is best for him and his family. You really think he owed the Jets and their fans any residual loyalty? That seriously makes no sense.
There had to be a better option than Miami for him. Any other team would be better. They are not going to contend, and he will not be protected. It is a bad move for himself. But for the loyal Chad fans its even worse since he is a Dolphin. I just don't get it.
