We would mostly all love this but desperate coaches don't put off drafting a QB for the next regime. Anyone who thinks we aren't taking a rookie QB with the first pick weather we trade up or he's worth it or not is kidding themselves.
I'm not saying it should happen because I think it will, I'm just saying it should. It's what a real franchise would do.
Full Draft Order can be viewed here. But Jets have 4 picks in Top 44 in 2026 Draft. If Ravens win Jets will have the #15. If Steelers win, Jets will have the #16 This is huge. Enjoy the offseason my friends. Regular Season be damned!
Hey we also hold the only record that will probably never be matched. No interceptions for an entire season yayyyyyy
It's hard to get excited about having these picks when they're going to be picked and coached by this coaching staff. They're going to ruin this great haul of draft picks and set this franchise back another DECADE.
Mendoza is the only QB worth a first or second round pick in this draft. We're not going to get him, so we should try to trade back as much as possible. And yes, I'm only posting this so The Waterboy can respond to it and make a fool out of himself for some reason.
Let's say we keep #2 and pick Moore. We will still have a chance to score an additional 1st rounder in 2027 draft by trading down using $15 and $33. Honestly, a very good place to be. I know even if we pick Moore there is no chance he will be successful in a Glenn led team. If she shows signs of life, we can still try him with the new Head Coach after Glenn is fired. But we will have at least 3 or maybe 4 first rounders in 2027 draft to have the Jets job as an attractive one. I don't like Mendoza, I don't like Moore. But I won't be mad if Glenn try to save his ass and draft one of those 2 this year to extend his shelf life. Not happening. Brook! out.
As much as I don't like it, unless we trade out of two, we're taking a quarterback. There is no way Woody will let them go defense with this years offensive performance.
Next time you want to call me out, don't be a pussy and use the @ before my name. You want to tell us again about Mike Whites high ceiling?
Can somebody explain how we have the first pick in the 2nd round, and not the Raiders? Sent from my SM-F766U using Tapatalk
When teams are tied in record, when you go to the next round, the team with the highest pick goes to the back of the line in the next round and everyone else moves up a spot.
So by that metric, we should be picking 3rd in the 2nd round right? Sent from my SM-F766U using Tapatalk
The other way around. 1st Round is: 1. Raiders 2. Jets 3. Cardinals 4. Titans 2nd Round: 1. Jets 2. Cardinals 3. Titans 4. Raiders Raiders went from the #1 spot to the bottom of the list of teams that are tied. The Jets, Cardinals, and Titans all moved up a spot. 3rd Round 1. Cardinals 2. Titans 3. Raiders 4. Jets (pick goes to Eagles) Jets went from the top to the bottom of the list and everyone else moved up a spot.
Been thinking about this for a while. If for some reason Moore goes back, we draft Bain. End of story. Potential trade back if that could yield us Caleb Downs still. Anyways, when you’re picking at 2, and there are two capable QBs in the board, it’s required they take them. None of this Malik Willis BS out there. But, with that being said, if Moore is not ready to go, they need to sign a true veteran to learn under. Was thinking of Marcus Mariotta. This team will not make the playoffs next year, even if Moore has a rookie year like Jayden Daniel’s. Our job is to develop this kid the right way. If that means sir a few games, so be it. Can’t rush this. with pick 15, I for sure thought defense but wouldn’t be surprised if we go after Makai lemon or the Penn State OG. We can’t do what we did to Sam and not give him enough. The O has a nice base but wouldn’t be surprised to see them filll it out this year in round 1.
We don't have a 3rd rounder this year but yes. I explained it in below post. https://forums.theganggreen.com/thr...-tankathon-thread.101009/page-44#post-4479686
