Not that, just that offenses are built so diversified these days so it's much easier to work away from a single good DB. I'm not mad at it though, I love hearing so many pundits saying Gardner is one of the best 2 players in the draft - I'll be his biggest fan this year. I'm really interested to see what direction JD goes from here now...
i think sell the team is some asshole that i've already come back to whine like a whipped bitch under another handle prolly still thinks Sam can play NFL QB
I love these “during the draft” threads. The weirdos amongst us show their heads. Some of the reactions are hysterical. Sauce is not a terrible pick. May not be who you preferred, but he’ll be a welcomed addition.
I'd be aggressive. Grab JJ if there at #10. If not, trade back or go WR. Trade back into Rd 1 to grab an Edge or WR that slides into the early 20s.
Yeah when in doubt its not a bad thing to err on the side of just stockpiling pro bowl level players. If you keep doing that you'll eventually have a good team one way or another.
I don't mind JJ on the 35. I'd really hate him on the 10. He's a bit too old to fit well into the NFL 1st Round at this point. If he's good as a 2nd rounder the Jets will lock him up after year 3 when he is still 26 and that contract will take him to 29 or 30 effectively.
Let's see what happens early in the 2nd. I think that's the spot for a Becton motivational tool/plan B at OT.
