we are limping to the finish line here in this thread. but we have 2!! days here is Raul Allegre #2 1991. Allegre was a foreign exchange student from Mexico who joined the football team for fun in his only year of American high school. He was kicking the ball from great distance but under the crossbar. the coach told him, its not like soccer - in football we try to kick it above the crossbar. Armed with that new information Allegre went onto kick a lot of balls over the crossbar, breaking high school records, getting a scholarship to Texas, and a 9 year NFL career with the Colts, Giants, and Jets. For our Jets, technically he only kicked in 1 regular season game - but it was memorable. He replaced an injured Pat Leahy for the final game of the 1991 regular season. tough enough to replace a legend, but Allegre joined the Jets for a win-and-your-in game against Miami. Allegre nailed 3 kicks including a kick as time expired to send it to OT and the game winner in OT. and the game winning kick!
My bad, got my hip replaced and I've been miserable, had trouble sleeping for 2 1/2 weeks.....starting drinking again, now I feel better....
Sorry to hear that you've had so much trouble sleeping!!! Don't worry about this thread. Others of us could have picked up the slack and didn't. You've been great to do the heavy lifting in this thread for a number of years. BrowningNagle has probably been the 2nd biggest contributor to this thread since I joined theganggreen, but know others have contributed as well. You shouldn't have to be solely responsible for this. I can't believe no-one on here had anything to say about it now that you bring it up. The End of Keyser Söze. . . or so it seems I actually changed my position a bit. It won't take a lot of convincing for me to think the Feds were directly in on it and not just passively by ensuring he was mysteriously unattended. More like a la CIA agent Frank Olson "jumping out the window of a 10 story NYC hotel room" and plunging to his death during the LSD "experiments". It really isn't that off the wall all things considered. Epstein had an awful lot of bargaining power as far as a plea agreement and may have even walked in comparison to what he was up against. People wanted him dead. Hell, so did I; but not before he sang like a canary.
