Lets see how accurate I am three weeks out:

    1. Cleveland Browns: Josh Allen QB Wyoming
    2. New York Giants: Sam Darnold QB USC
    3. New York Jets: Baker Mayfield QB Oklahoma
    4. Cleveland Browns: Saquon Barkley HB Penn State
    5. Denver Broncos: Josh Rosen QB UCLA
    6. Indianapolis Colts: Bradley Chubb DE North Carolina State
    7. Tampa Bay Bucs: Derwin James S Florida State
    8. Chicago Bears: Quentin Nelson OG Notre Dame
    9. San Francisco 49ers: Minkah Fitzpatrick CB/S Alabama
    10. Oakland Raiders: Tremaine Edmunds LB Virginia Tech

I’m pretty confident from everything I read the Jets are going to end up with Mayfield one way or another. I think it’s a big time mistake, but we shall see.

At the end of the day I dont see Rosen as the kind of kid the Johnsons want to make the face of their franchise. I heard that his father was a big Obama donor.

The Jets are going to shove his “competitveness” down our throats.

If Rosen is still available at 3, he must be the pick. I'm pro Mayfield, but not at all costs.

If Rosen is on the board at 3 I would run to the podium. You just cant pass it up.

I think you may be spot on with the first 6 picks. That's entirely plausible. I think this is your best post in spite of the last sentence. :p LOL

I am and always have been a Jet fan. I root for the laundry. However, if it ever came out that the Johnsons passed on a potential franchise QB because of political affiliation, I'd find it extremely difficult to stay invested in the team.

I wouldn't be shocked if they took Mayfield over Rosen, but I would be disappointed.

People keep bringing up Rosen's "attitude" and injuries, but one man's attitude is another man's spirit. And ALL players get hurt, can he be hurt and end his career early? Sure, but so can every other player. Watch his tape and how he moves around the pocket and you'll see that he's not a statue waiting to be hit. But the bottom line is: watch his tape and try to say anyone else is in his class as a passer and how he reads the field. Whatever the perceived risks, he is the best pick.

The league obviously doesnt like him. Of the four QBs Rosen is the only one Cleveland publicly hasnt considered at #1.

His issue seems to be that he doesnt get along great with his coaches. If you are a GM or a HC you worry that he is another Jay Cutler.

I think it also looks bad that he pretty much slept walked through college while the other three really had to compete to get where they are today.

Yeah i know his coach didn't do him any favor either but i think he might be Aaron Rodgers type talent and yeah he can be Jay Cutler too.

Mayfield is the winner and leader that this team needs. Rosen is Cutler. You want a whining little bitch on the team?

    Nice Mock Aqualung!!!!

I will support whoever we get including Allen..But TBH it's still sinking in the Jets are QB ready..woo hoo..NO SAFETIES and DL..ahahahah

My gut has been talking B Mayfield for this team for a couple of months now..is that emotional won't quick winner gonna take us to the Top?? Hope so..kid is more durable than Rosen who we need to protect but I've always been on board with him too...his attitude is a step down from Baker but the talent is there..plus his concussions may or may not be the difference. Rosen passed over would be a shocker don't ya think ?? as he was proclaimed most NFL ready..Woody and the political stuff is BS

We are not getting. Sam D and Allen is just mystery meat...of course I still ate what the school served up hehehe

The problem I have about Rosen and his political stance is that he doesn't seem like a team player. What I mean is that once a person or group of prominent people are involved in your every day life, and you are in opposition to them or their policies, it sounds like that type of person could be a rebel in the lurking. How does that bode when you are in disagreement with team mates and coaches and it continues through out the many seasons he is with them in that locker room? If a person gets elected or hired that has some involvement in your day to day existence, and you you don't go with the flow, the only recourse is to head to exit door.

I don't like over analyzing or making predictions as to how or why Rosen thinks the way he does, but his intelligence may be his undoing.
