it's useless to someone who doesn't understand the game.

what is his INT % in postseason?

youre right EXCEPT that we were unable to throw more since our last 2 QB's were turnover machines. so the bad teams throw more doesnt apply to a team that has a QB who has penchant for giving the ball away like its covered in 8 types of AIDS (see sanchez, mark and smith, geno)

ZERO playoff wins w/ very talented teams in a weak era of AFC football. his BACKUP started for him and won a playoff game.

of top 6 on that yardage list only one of them does NOT have a single playoff win.

Hence the 338 times Ken O'Brein was sacked in his career.

mostly b/c he held onto the ball looking for the big play and took sacks rather than throw it away so his comp % would stay high.

Again, this nullifies every one of his career statistics, correct?

thats not a comparison, thats pointing out that the two of them have a habit of turning the ball over at an alarmingly high rate.

Which is why his IMMEDIATE PREDECESSOR, Richard Todd, is second on this list with 230 sacks in just 7 years played?

What do playoff wins have to do with the number of times you had sacked? You won nothing. You just shouted "BINGO!" during a poker game.

the entire point of the O'Brien stuff is he could never win a playoff game. he got the prime years out of the talent that Todd helped reach a title game and the lone playoff win he was on the roster for his BACKUP won the game.

Lets end this nonsense, once and for all, using actual statistics:

    Ken O'Brien 3465 Attempts 338 Sacks - One Sack per 10.25 Attempts

Pat Ryan, who is everything a quarterback should be to nycjunc played with the EXACT same players as Ken O'Brien. The difference is negligible.

    Pat Ryan
345 Attempts 46 Sacks - One sack per 13.71 Attempts

Compare that to maybe the LEAST mobile QB in Jets history who was blessed with a real offensive line:

Vinny Testaverde - 1854 Attempts 77 Sacks - One Sack per 24.07 Attempts

Vinny was actually very mobile pre Achilles and Vinny threw the ball away to avoid sacks thus why he threw so many more INTs.

Ryan was 3 1/2 attempts behind Ken per INT. that should tell you something. Ryan also actually won a playoff game.
