There's another factor, was mentioned before. Revis can potentially make a lot of money on the side through Nike-type endorsements. For this to happen 3 things have to be true. 1st he has to perform on the top level. 2nd, he has to be on a prominent, contending team. 3rd, he has to play in a big market. The first is up to him. The other two are very contradictory if he stays with Jets. NY is a prominent market, but Jets are not a likely contender. On the other hand, TB might be a contender with Revis, and a highlighted role for him, but it's hardly a prominent market. To be honest, I'm not sure if this favors the trade for Revis, or favors staying pat.
Considering past history it's a non-starter. Woody was already burned twice with Revis bitching as soon as big front load passed. He won't do it again.

I don't see a draft day trade for a few reasons. The other team would need to know they could work out an acceptable contract extension for them to give up the picks the Jets seems to be wanting and Revis and his group don't have a track history of quickly agreeing to terms, they will also need the time to do a physical. I don't see this happening the day of the draft and especially doubtful it would happen while a team was on the clock.

eh, it's all good...I think Sanchez will rebound big in 2013. Give the kid some credit for bringing us close the first 2 years, If he can do that much, it's a good chance he can have a comeback year.
