The Jets agreed to the deal, and announced it as done. The only reason they were able to backtrack is because the League had not signed off when they realized they were going to have to fork $5 mil over to the Broncos. They skidded by on a technicality, not because an agreement hadn't been reached.

Tebow in the backfield with Sanchez in an alternate role would open the passing game up insanely. He wouldn't be the decoy that Brad Smith was as a receiver. I wouldn't like the hype associated with Tebow, but he would be a killer offensive weapon. Just not as a starting QB.

This is how i see it too. We are in a division with a certain qb that we need to keep the ball away from. This would be a great ball control opportunity. With Tebow and Sparano and the wildcat i'd be excited for it.
Where is it written that Tebow is the greatest wildcat QB of all time? If you're only getting 4-6 snaps a game at most, isn't that a real waste of a roster spot. Brad Smith was a great special teamer in addition to being a well above average wildcat QB. I'd much rather have him than Tebow. Just fucking mind boggling.
