I'm not excusing what Dickie said because of personal experience. It's perfectly possible to be opposed to drunk driving and still feel that Braylon received appropriate punishment from the team. I get WHY he was upset, but that doesn't make it right.

Personally I hardly ever drink at all, and I'm all for putting drunk drivers in jail ... but enough of all this BS about the Jets "sending the wrong message". I wish everyone would just STFU already. Since when is it the job of the employer to punish an employee for something he did on his own time??? I really don't get it.
