makes sense, none of the other AL playoff teams had a legitimate MVp contender except teixeira,

 

wow. when was the last time an AL MVP had numbers like Pedroia? Perfect storm for him to win.

to bad Hamilton had such a less-spectacular 2nd half, and that the Rangers sucked. His 2nd half numbers still weren't bad at all though.

ops+ of 132 to Pedroia's 122 this year, of course Pedroia was a better than league average 2b this year, while Jeter was an abortion at SS in 2006

fielding bible has Pedroia at +15 this year, 5th among 2b, 2nd among AL 2b
Jeter in 2006 was at -22

 

if jeter played 2b, hed put up a +20 spot

 

I really doubt it, since his strength is popups, and weakness is GBs, moving to his right and f
footwork, he'd probably be worse at 2b
