It'll do nothing, but maybe I'll feel good for a split second.

With the way the Mets are playing, I'm sure a ground ball will be botched and thrown into their dugout, unintentionally.

as an aside, what is bradford doing in a 10 run game? at this point you've got to be putting sanchez or heilman in here and saving bradford for a game that matters

I really wish Heath Bell was still pitching.

Heilman pitched 2 innings yesterday and I'd rather have Sanchez in a big game than Bradford.

no need to see a death on the mound. i'm still not sure why the mets didn't try something like feliciano/sanchez/bradford all for 2 innings after the grand slam, or better yet, before they blew the lead.

Have the Mets deserved to have one good thing said about them?

Why? Bradford has been unhittable for about a month and Sanchez has been mediocre to bad over that same time period. Now, it's likely at some point Bradford will revert back to more of his normal self and Sanchez will be the better option but he sure isn't right now.

I wouldn't have one good thing to say about the Mets with this performance, so why should they?

When the Mets scored 4 runs they wouldn't get off of Valentin's non slide

Miller's orgasms after Arod's HRs are annoying

And I love how they keep making excuses and shit for the yankees, I just learned from them Joe Torre is psychic because he knew the Yanks would score runs off Soler...

As slow as he is, Valentin shouldn't have been waved around in the first place. As it turned out, that out cost the Mets at least one run. Who knows how the game would have panned out otherwise?

As for Jon Miller, call me when he pronounces Alay, Beltran, and Betemit correctly. I might begin to take him seriously after that.

This was a bad game for the Mets all the way around. It's not like Joe Buck and Tim McCarver spooging on Mike Mussina while Pedro is shutting out the Yankees 4-0 in the 8th inning.

Even when the mets think they are better while being in a minor league division and the yankess missing a Y in their D (Cano, Shef, and Matsui) - we still take them to the wood shed on the way out!

Spare me the pile on, illmatic. The Yankees had two managers managing for them tonight.
