    The Broncos would have to be pretty stupid to agree to the following : (NYJATW's opinion)

    ~~~~~~~
    Denver needs to address QB issue
    Rocky Mountain News
    News columnist Dave Krieger thinks the Broncos should try and trade Jake Plummer and their two first-round draft picks to Green Bay for Brett Favre and the Packers' first-round pick.
    Whoa...I can understand your reaction there.
    Plummer > Favre
    15 and 22= 5
    Thats stupid. Plummer is a great QB who is in his prime for at least 2 or 3 more years. Favre is washed out and is definitely no better than Plummer at throwing, scrambling, or reading coverage and blitz's. Plus there's the added pressure of just having rumors floating around that Favre is done. No way is this even close to fair. Denver is one of the teams in this league that has a QB set in stone for years to come. They don't need to sure up their QB position, and even if they did, Favre would NOT be the way to go.
    Plummer is not and never will be a "great" QB. He had a good year last year but that's it. I do agree though that they are probably pretty equal right now.
    Plummer is a product of the "no mistake policy." He's not going to screw up, but he's not going to make any plays. Plus he still has Vinnyitus, in that he'll make a terrible play after making several good ones.
