This move just boggles my mind. Considering half my family (me and my father) are Jets fans and my brother and mother are Bills fans, I often tend to hate the Bills, but recently they've been so bad I've just felt downright sorry for them. They have this runningback fetish I can't understand. No one really drafts runningbacks 1st around these days, unless theyre extremely versatle. I feel its Ralph Wilson drafting like its 1979... Until Wilson crokes or steps down, that franchise will be playing aimlessly year in and year out. I mean I hate those fuckers, but I mean theyre just so pathetic right now. :bills_suck:
Felix Jones Chris Johnson Adrian Peterson Marshawn Lynch Reggie Bush Joseph Addai Ronnie Brown Steven Jackson LaDainian Tomlinson Deuce McAllister Jamal Lewis Thomas Jones Shaun Alexander Edgerrin James Ricky Williams Fred Taylor Warrick Dunn Eddie George Marshall Faulk Jerome Bettis Emmitt Smith Yea..first round RBS all blow
Yup this pick spells the end of Lynch in Buffalo. They may even deal him during the draft for a 3rd rounder
I think Spiller's going to be a stud in the league. With all the holes the Bills had I think they can dump Lynch for a pick, pick up Clausen, then start shoring up trenches the best they can. It'll take them 3 years to be playoff-worthy though, imo.
Yea but CJ Spiller can really make something out of nothing. However, your right that he does need openings because he thrives in open space with that speed.
I liked the pick for the Bills. If I were them, I'd be on the phone with the Rams trying to package Lynch with their 2nd for the Rams 2nd to move up and take Clausen.
Maybe one of them can also play offensive line. But this probably means Marshawn Lynch is as good as traded... Seattle?
I did not want the Bills getting Spiller but I think they made a great pick. He's a sick athlete and may give the Jets some problems in years to come if the Bills can work on their offensive line.
NY got Holmes MIA got Marshall BUF got Spiller Buf got their play maker. Spiller will be a pain in the ass in the East for many years.
Not scared about Spiller. The Bills have a shitty OL. College is one thing, but everyone is significantly faster in the pro's so those "make something out of nothing" holes will close very quickly for Spiller. Besides, most teams will know to stack the box since they don't really have a deep threat anyway. Maybe next year he'll be something....if Buffalo ever decides get a franchise QB, rebuild that line, add another deep threat, AND integrate "throwing downfield" to their offensive playbook.
Style! Profile! I said, it always brings me back when I hear "Ooh Child"! From the Hudson river out to the Nile! I run the Marathon til the very last Mile!
