Endorsements like Wheaties, THE BREAKFAST OF CHAMPIONS!, Powerade, Under Armour, stuff like that. PSDunderwear? I don't think so. PSDunderwear, sounds like a doddering old British guy.
I've said it before: Baker talks and acts like a 12-year NFL vet who has won multiple SB's and MVP's. Hopefully he plays half as good for the Browns' sake. It is ridiculous. Maybe the Browns felt they needed that flash instead of a quiet, class act, like Darnold? That is all I can think of. Either way: Thanks John Dorsey! You big weirdo!
The internet and cable TV ended that era. He will make more in endorsements this year than he will from his first 5 year NFL contract. Just his Nike deal pays him over 2 million per month to start and then it will increase as they roll out their full campaign.
Do you have a source for this? I haven't seen anything about him signing a $25 million annual deal, let alone one that starts at $25 million and goes up.
I recently read an article about his endorsement deals, the only said he chose to sign with Nike and the deal was structured at just over $2 million per month to start and would ramp up and increase as his playing time increases. They also said Rosen turned down a similar offer and chose to go with Addias because they were more environment friendly, particularly regarding the ocean.
