I didn't get to respond to your game thread post last week, but I do get why you are skeptical after nearly 50 years of failure and heartbreak. I'm sure I'll be in your position in a few decades if this team is still stuck on 1 Super Bowl win.
Buffalo beat a couple of decent teams too @ Minnesota and Tennessee. I'm worried about this game. The Jets SHOULD win this game but we know how that goes heck they should have won last week.
With the young buck out the jets definitely need to just run the air out of ball and concede this game. Winning this game with a 39 year old qb will do nothing for this team in the present or in the future yet that is exactly what they will do. Expect creative offensive play calling, perfect snaps from center, oline opening huge holes for the rb etc etc. Just another typical spit in your face Sunday for the NYJ's and their fans.
Yes..you might be 100% correct for "all out effort" here and that would cause me to throw up in my mouth OTH if you get Bart Scott's last rant against Bowles and the CS he probably mimics what the players really feel but can't say No..I don't get the unwavering support for TB and Bates here ...hunch says it's NOT on the field today Remember...Losing is Winning today if Toilet gets flushed
If things continue on their present course, you'll become just as jaded as all of us greybeards. BTW, I'm presently 5 miles offshore headed Eastbound. Go Jets!
Hell yeah. Catchem up! Im about to play driveway repairman on my truck. If im done by 1, cool. If not im not too concerned
This just reminds that the Jets historically go away from anything that seems to be working, and if it isn't working, hey, let's just keep doing it.
All that winning does today is secures TB’s job for this and next year. In other words it sets us back for at least 3 years+ then he get to hear from. All the high played players how together the locker room is at 4-6
Beating a shitty Bills team doesn't save your job, but losing to a shitty Bills team will make you lose it for sure!
no it doesn't it just may secure his position till year end. If the team continue to look like a JV team, he is done this year.
Buffalo will try to win this game the same way Miami did last week. They won't take many chances on O, take care of the ball, try to force turnovers by the Jets O. Jets have to protect the football in this game. Call a conservative game on offense if they get too agressive especially if Robbie is out that's exactly what Buffalo wants.
Bowles on radio now says "team is frustrated ,,, but its a team ballgame"..Bob just as him if he could counsel and play "psychiatrist " for the players going thru all the losing? Bowels says "yeah part of the job" ..horrible monotone voice ..ugh,,"we are starting to jell together"...gag AHAHAHAH
