I just watched the half season finale. Has anyone else been watching? If you haven't, you will never go to Valhalla.
Watched it the other day. Wasn't expecting a 10 year time leap 3/4s of the way through. Also, thanks for making me aware that this was the half season finale, for some reason I thought it was the season finale, probably because the show has never gotten greenlit for more than 10 episodes in a season. We get 10 MORE?? That's fucking awesome.
Have you guys seen this site? http://vikings.wikia.com/wiki/Vikings_Wiki A lot of good stuff on there.
Just saw the trailer and it looks excellent as usual. 2nd half of the 4th season coming in the fall followed up by the start of the 5th season some time in February hopefully. This time they announced there will be the full 20 episodes but they did not say if it would be a split season. Still remains to be seen if Ragnar's sons can fill his shoes.
Anyone still watching this? Starting off a little slow this season but big happenings building up to what should be some explosive episodes.
Yes sir. My wife was all pissed after the last episode, but I already knew for a couple of years that was going to happen. Looking forward to Ivar becoming a ruthless badass, the guy that plays him is a pretty good actor.
Yep, knew it was coming but a little surprised how it went down, didn't think they would go the historically correct route. With Ivar and the brothers we should see plenty of marauding. It's also been a long while since the last blood eagle. Curious how they will handle Ivar and Lagertha fight that has to be coming.
Lagertha (so hot) is going to die tonight. That's my guess. Looking forward to Erik the Red and Leif Erikson. There are a bunch of other vikings they can build stories off of. Bjorn and Ivar are going to be good stories as well. I never knew this man Ragnar conquered Paris. Pretty cool history lessons in Vikings, with myths and fiction weaved into the storyline. Started watching the show a few weeks ago and caught up fast. Game of Thrones wishes it could be Vikings. After watching Vikings Game of Thrones loses sword, shield and violence cred. Vikings have battles/action in almost every episode. Game of Thrones has boring dialogue and gay sex in every episode. To each their own I guess.
They'd be playing with fire if they killed off 2 of the most favorite characters in the show in consecutive weeks and replaced them with mostly unproven talents and supporting characters. I'm not sure how much longer this show will run, but I doubt she bites it any time soon.
I was disappointed in the last episode. Was expecting much better battle. This show could go 20 more seasons if they get back to braveheart esque battles
Yeah, they pretty much glossed over the entire battle against King Aelle. Need to step it up when they go after Ecbert. Plus there'll probably be an invasion of Kattegat. Agree though the battles have sucked all season.
