Ironically Senator Goodell was against the Vietnam war. Heck Roger even worked for the Jets once. I think it is safe to say Roger does come from a higher class than most of us. He is the epitome of why some of us never had a chance like he did. Ok am I envious? Yes I am. Is he a joke, certainly not. We are the joke for taking him so seriously. Back to your theory on Roger being bias to the Patriots. I have been hearing this argument for many years now from Patriot haters. I am disappointed that many of you have not been able to make the argument by pointing out that Roger's dad was a Patriot fan! So there you go, your welcome! Now that I have helped your argument, can you now please answer some of my dumb questions. Belichick admitted to having made videos for years to Goodell. What incriminating piece of information would these so called destroyed videos have that caused their destruction? Do you seriously think Belichick was the only NFL person with videos? Is it possible that Belichick having been in the NFL for over 30 years at that time might also have some dirt on other coaches? I sometimes wonder if SPYGATE will become like the JFK assignation with all these conspiracy theories.

The only blunder in the play was Sanchez did not hold the ball tight enough. Anyone that knows football knows the #1 blunder was Jim Marshall running to the wrong end zone and then throwing the ball into the crowd for a safety. Get outta town, BCheat didn't know it was a rule. Just suck it up that the destruction of those tapes had more cheating all over it than outside eyes were allowed to see. Again, you should be thankful, not hateful, towards idiot Goodell. It's funny how Goodell was a "Jets boy", but man, did you guys ever get a gift. Those tapes would probably have made the league worse than it is. If you're Catholic, you should petition the Vatican for the beatification of Ernie Adams, for ya know, the Patron Saint of Cheating. I don’t think Goodell was biased toward the Patriots at least until he botched the spygate sanctions,got tired of ignoring continued headset/wiretap allegations & the deflate gate cover up transpired.It became clear that the behavior never subsided. Goodell destroyed the tapes bc he wanted to preserve the shield & eliminate the disruption that it had become.Patriots had won 3 recent Super Bowls & If the truth came out that it was tainted that would damage revenue.Course everyone outside of New England thinks it’s tainted anyway. As for Bellicheat having dirt on others?Im sure he does. But where’s the outcry or accusations to back it up? We’ve Heard far too many level headed credible football minds talk about the underhanded nature of the Patriots operation. I think the safest assumption is that every team stretches the rules & the truth to some extent;The Patriots under Bellicheat take it to a systemic & extreme level. Wow beatification, now are we getting religious here? So are you arguing that Bill Belichick will enter the gates of heaven due to immaculate deception? Since you bring up beatification, the Jesuits (the intellectuals of the Catholic Church) would argue that whether we go to heaven or not is determined by our own free will. If we truly accept God, we can go to heaven even if we have lived a very sinful life. On the other hand, if we truly don’t accept God, we will not go to heaven even if we lived a life of no sin. Basically at the hour of our death, we of our own free will choose our own destiny. But if you don’t believe me, go talk to a Jesuit. As to the Patriots cheating discussion, perhaps this should be a separate post since we have definitely veered of the original butt fumble topic.
