Well, we've had a zillion threads on this before our site crashed, but Santana Moss wouldn't have had 700 yards if he was with us last season.

Has been and would be a terrible fit in the Jets offense. Coles also had 70 catches with Brooks Bollinger throwing to him... just wait until we find a real QB.

He also has a qb who can actually throw the ball, and even do so downfield.

The Redskins were just lucky that they had the missing piece in the Moss puzzle.

Don't worry, we not only gave you Moss but he came with a bad case of airborne Syphillis- not alot of happy folks in the locker room now...

I have no problem with getting rid of Moss it was good for him and for the Jets. Except for a brilliant 10 game strecth in 2003 he simply could not catch passes thrown to him here. He lost confidence in himself and the team and the coaches were not able to trust him. He needed a fresh start and I am glad it was helpfull for him.

Both teams were a winner in the Coles and Moss trade. All that being said it what we lost and what we need to replace is a vertical threat that poses a threat to defenses.

You really miss the guy who had one great year and then a bunch of poor years? The only place where I dearly miss him is on punt returns... which Justin Miller would be able to do even better if he could learn to catch them.

We'll see. He's a very soft guy and if a LB hits him too hard his season is over.

Ah yes, because him and the legendary Jason Campbell will be scary for years to come.

Don't worry havnt you seen him get hit by Brian Dawkins or Kevin Dyson? He popped straight up. I thought he was soft when we got him but hes proven me wrong.

I think Moss is a much better fit in Washington with Gibbs. And I think we're all pretty happy for him. He will always be one of my favorites

Santana's in a much better situation where he is now, and wanting the best for a former Hurricane, I'm glad he's there. The Jets would still be ruining his career in all likelihood if he were on the team.

    Funny thing is,

Back when he was being drafted there were 2 recievers the Redskins were interested in, Santana Moss and Rod Gardner. Dan Snyder told Marty Shottenhiemer that he wanted Santana Moss but Marty said he wanted Rod Gardner. So we drafted Rod Gardner and right now it looks like he will be out of the league this coming season.

No matter, we still got Santana and truthfully, if we drafted Santana Moss i doubt he would still be with the Redskins. Now all we need is his brother as our number 2 reciever !! EHehHHEHee

Are Redskin Legends coming so cheap these days? I give hm 3 more seasons before he ends up finding an injury that he can't fully recover from. He's way too fragile to continue to play at the level he played this year. You'll understand soon why a lot of us weren't so upset to see Moss go. Count on it.

Problem is, I'm not claiming that Coles or Bollinger are going to be legends in our city. Moss had a good year, but I'd wait before I'd consider him a future legend.

He was studying the playbook while sitting on the bench most of the season and the time he did get to play was in the preseason and he threw 0 interception and 1 touchdown.

    Cant help it though...lol
