I think it would be nice to have the ability to "like" someones post. It would also be cool to have the ability to give feedback on people's posts, which would accumulate and be able to seen under a persons avatar showing how good of a poster someone is.
No. Rank how helpful the post was or how much you liked the post, whether it was informational or funny. I've seen this on forums before, it just shows the quality of the poster.
Really??? And you are trusting someone else's ranking of those posts to tell you? You could save yourself a lot more trouble and just stop reading.
I can't stand those people on facebook who go around hitting the like button on every single post. I swear, I could post that several kids were molested in a van outside her house and she'd "like" it.
This idea sucks. It would be the equivalent of the board taking a giant roofie. All the posts would start to be geared towards getting a thanks. Well no thanks. I would rather be called a faggot a 1000 times then molested by this nicety shit because people would be vying to be the most liked person. Let Finheaven be the gay hotline, not this place.
I always thought reading the post was a good way to decide whether or not it's a valid post and whether or not it's worth responding to. Judging the validity of a post on that person's post count or a supposed reputation bar is kinda lazy.
