6M for a backup, if he underperforms could be cut late in TC. Depth is great, I hope for this outcome as well.

As long as they are affordable, I am on board for:

    #1 Robert Quinn
    #2 Matt Paradis
    #3 Ronald Leary

If Jets snag all three, it would be a huge off season. Quinn with Josh Allen/Nick Bosa look really good at DE spot.

As much as I hate the thought of paying a backup 6 mill ... this is a damn good idea

If we signed all those guys, there would be posts on this board saying we have the most talented roster in the league, and Gase should be fired for not going 12-4.

If Lawerence actually hits UFA and we get him great, but none of the rest of those guys are better than the bodies already on our roster.... and the board will go crazy regardless because that’s what we do lol.

What's needed is a system that works on both sides and find players who fit. That's how certain teams are consistently good. It's impossible to have a superstar at every position. Lawrence is a perfect fit for Williams' D, but will he become a UFA? That's the 20 million dollar question.

If a Rams DB could send Brady into last week on a corner blitz and not get flagged, then we should get one! Maybe two!

Will FA be effected by a likelihood of trading down from #3 to recoup a 2nd? If we trade down, we won't get an elite pass rusher, which might turn up the heat on FA.

I would love Bosa as much as anyone, but if Macc trades down for pics he might look for his Bosa-lite in FA.

I think it will be the exact opposite.
The draft will be effected by what happens in Free agency.
1 what QB needy teams sign a FA QB. Will have the biggest impact on Draft day trades.
2 who Mac signs in Free agency will dictate positions of need vs value.

Our DBs cannot cover. Most NFL DBs cannot cover. If we just cut down on our penalties it will be a vast improvement. Skrine leaving should contribute to that. Making our DBs wear thumbless mittens might help, too. Ha ha. I cannot wait to see how we protect 4th quarter leads under Williams

Christopher Johnson was seen entering an oval shape disc behind Jets Drive .....We belive he is going to talk to the "Aliens" about a way to help hide coach Gases true identity

I don't think Ja'Wuan James will be coming here any time soon. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.c...olphins-never-had-offensive-identity-in-2018/

For as much as I have accepted Gase tidbits like this comes out and it makes me really nervous about him. The other aspect I am reminded of is that they had Tannehill and then he got injured and had to go with Brock. Knowing that it makes sense they had no identity. They had issues at qb. We'll see. Time will tell and we hope Gase has learned and grown from this. That being said Logains scares me. Have not heard anything good about him.
