MAN!!! did this guy fall fast, i don't even see him in Mocks anymore, I would love this guy at #57, anyone have any explanation why he has fallen
Arrested......drunk & interfering with Police. http://www.superficialsports.com/oklahoma_sooners_trouble.htm
well, think about it this way, can any of you here honestly say you've never been drunk.....??? and on the other hand, everyone deserves a second chance
He's just not as good as some of the other players at his position. Some like Timmons and Beason are just flat out better prospects, and others like Stewart Bradley have had great offseasons.
watch, he'll be this year's Demeco Ryans... He is a really good LB who fell for a reason I am unsure of, and he will fall into some teams lap, and be a good LB for years to come
Read the entire thread and you will know the reason.........Post #2. He's not going to be the next Demeco Ryans, Alexander isn't in the class of Ryans, as a player and a person. If I'd have to guess who's going to be the next Demeco Ryans......H.B. Blades.
HB BLades up side is temendous. The guy is a tackling machine. I really think he will be a steal of this draft - whomever grabs him.....
his size. They say he might be shorter than 5 ' 10. I personally could care less, Sam Mills was a midget but he was a tackling machine
Agreed TTB..........Everytime I watched a Pitt game, Blades was all over the field. IMO, he's a 4-3 linebacker...so he's probably not in the Jet's plans.
IMO Blades is has that "throwback" look to him. He isn't big. He isn't fast He isn't flashy He is just ALWAYS around the ball...From a defensive perspective, isn't that the name of the game??
From what I've read of other peoples perspectives, they all say he could project to 3-4 ILB, since he's very strong and he's very good at filling the hole, but has so-so speed. That was the case with Demeco Ryans and he transferred nicely to the strongside of the 4-3 defense, but I'm just putting it out there, that I wouldn't be surprised if the Patriots took this guy and made him their new Tedy Bruschi.
Blades has played in a 4-3 defense and IMO, he's better suited for a 4-3 defense. His small statue won't help him in a 3-4. Blades is a sideline to sideline LB and needs freedom to roam.
