Jets get: Dalvin Cook RB Adam Shaheen TE Josh Reynolds WR Sign me up! Full mock below http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap30...rs-slide?campaign=fb-nf-sf74416333-sf74416333
I don't know Reynolds, but I'd love Shaheen. I'd prefer ANY of the players taken before Cook over Cook. I just looked up Reynolds. I'd be surprised if the Jets were seriously considering him. He doesn't look like a #1 WR, but rather a #3, deep threat type WR or maybe a #2. The Jets have Robby Anderson who has already shown excellent potential in that role, and I'm sure are hoping to get something from Devin Smith as well. I just don't see their using a pick on Reynolds. If the 2nd round falls that way, imo the Jets best option would be to trade down and hopefully gain an additional 3rd round pick, then take one of JuJu Smith-Schuster, Alvin Kamara, Kevin King, Zach Cunningham, or even Antonio Garcia. I really hope that it doesn't fall that way. My preference would be to add Bowser or Willis in the 2nd round, or trade down. In the 3rd round, I'd love Sidney Jones and Adam Shaheen, but if the draft falls the way it does in that mock, I'd take Shaheen at 3a, and at 3b would take either Jordan Leggett, TE, Tyler Orlosky, C, or Julie'n Davenport, OT.
My dream scenario assuming no trades: 39) Jordan Willis 70) Sidney Jones 107) Adam Shaheen Sent from my KIW-L24 using Tapatalk
I would be happy with our first and second day looking like this... 6) Jamal Adams 39) Dalvin Cook 70) Sidney jones 107) Nathan Peterman
The Jets have to go CB in the next few picks. This draft class if touted for CB depth, we have a huge need at CB. You can't pass on that. A few years back, when WR was the main flavor of that draft, we passed on a ton of talent, huge mistake. I don't think Mac makes that same mistake. I'm hoping Kevin King, Jalen Tabor, or Fabian Mareau. All would be quality options for us.
Heard some say that Cook is being taking off many draft boards because of some off field issues - one being his breath smelled of alcohol while attending interviews/meetings with scouts and team personnel....any one hear this?
Do we take a chance on Sidney Jones ,, first round potential but trying to recoup from Achilles injury... Big gamble that may be worth it.
