Haha, I love 'Goblin'. "Tubular Bells!" Yeah, yeah, I know, says you. Fun band anyway. They actually came out with some stuff that sounded very Pink Floydish, but before Pink Floyd. 'Profondo Rosso' (Deep Red) is a great soundtrack, too, as well as a fabulous flick. I like watching it in Italian instead of the dubbed version, it's more over the top somehow. Too bad Argento lost steam and fell apart artistically in later years. A shame.

I mean, duh. I got sympathy cards from my friends when David Bowie died. He was a childhood fave. I'm talking childhood. I was a fag hag at the ripe old age of 9. Bowie . . . albums . . .I was poor as fukk in college, and I used to haul milk crates full of albums down to St. Mark's Records in exchange for money for art supplies at Utrecht. I think it's Blick now. Rolls of decent paper and paint was a lot of money. I switched to mineral spirits because f turpentine, too costly - which I still use, lol. I'm the Queen of cheap shit, which is both both good and bad because some of my best work is disintegrating. Anyway, sometimes I'd score $30 bucks and still go back with 10 more albums in a swap. When I got married I sold them all because my ancient record player's needle punked and I couldn't find a replacement, and everything was going to CD. What a dumb dumb to sell 1200 vinyls, but I don't know, I was in a disconnected mood at the time. I regret it now. Seriously, F all this digital crap. I love listening to vinyl. It just sounds better, hissing, scratches, skips and all. It's kind of why I hate digital photography. It's not the same as REAL photography. It just isn't. Digital photography always looks flat to me, if that makes any sense. It's the world we live in, but I'd gladly go back to traditional 35mm if I could find someone to DEVELOP IT. I still have rolls of Kodak in all speeds - B&W and color - in my fridge. One of my closest friends, Steve, won't listen to anything unless it's on vinyl and he's so right. Cassettes are OK, especially when your parents are screaming at you in the background while you're trying to tape a song off the radio.
