RG3 has been healthy for over a year/season now, no?

Only because he hasn't played in over a season.

I'd much rather see Fitz because he already knows the system, he is comfortable with the players, and he isn't injury prone. Griffin was benched last year and didn't play all year in favor of a backup. In the last year he did play he was only able to play 9 games. In those 9 starts he had 5 TD's and 10 turnovers. The guy is Sanchez-level bad and much more fragile. No thanks.

I understand the reasons you want Fitz back.

I also understand your aversion to RG3, but he is not Sanchez-level bad. That's just nuts. He had an excellent rookie season. He was then undermined by his new CS.

He definitely needs to change his style of play, staying in the pocket and running only when things break down or he can get a few yards and either slide or get out of bounds. He has a better arm than Fitz, is more athletic, is young, and still has ceiling. H also likely will be cheaper than Fitz.

For what it's worth I'd love to see what RGlll could do under the tutelage of known QB guru Chan Gailey. It would be fun!!

My biggest issue with RG3 is the injury issue, not just in the fact that he is injury prone, but that he has been exposed. Running and scrambling is a big part of his game. The rest of the NFL knows that he is one hard tackle away from being out of the game. You should have no doubt that he will not last the season if he starts. This is especially true if the Jets actually play really well and get off to a good start. The target on his injury-prone back will get bigger each week. He just doesn't have the size and durability of a guy like Cam Newton. He is too small and fragile to survive a full season with his mobile style.

Agreed. I want Fitz back, but can see potential that he regresses a bit this year. But it would be a GREAT story and thing to see Chan revive RG3's career.

in order my choices would be: RG3, Hoyer, Start Geno, Yates, Moore

id prefer all of those 100 times more then giving fitz more then 5-7 million.

RG3 is not sanchez level bad, thats just crazy talk.

im not sure how you can say fitz isnt injury prone or isnt a turnover machine.

Griffin was benched last year or contract reasons. his contracted stated if he played and got hurt his remaining salary would be gauranteed.

Griffin was benched for contract reasons and that after his rookie season he was as bad as Sanchez.
