I like the open forum thread idea, as long as there isn't any name-calling or cussing, everything else should be good. I like a Mod Election idea too.
For those asking for a Mod Election, that will probably never happen again. The time before last, we had a Mod Election, and there was one noble member PMing people asking for their vote. That's disgusting, and a huge turnoff to that process.
There are good mods in one aspect but suck in others and there are Mods that don't seem to care then it seems there are mods who are never around. Seems to me that The new format is becoming more of a burden than an improvement mostly because of the lack of attention being paid to it. It's one thing for posters to continually post stuff in the wrong forums, it's another for Mods to either overlook it constantly or just not give a shit. IMO- If you can't handle the simple tasks of being a Moderator, give it up. There are Definitely a few good mods just doesn't seem to be enough of them.
RT, that's where you guys come in. Report things so that we can respond in a timely manner. We cannot be everywhere in every thread, everyday. Threads get moved when they get reported. Sometimes even before IF we see them. Like you said, there's alot of forums and threads now to cover. Since most of us have lives, do you really want a mod that does nothing else all day but hang around TGG.com? Frankly, that would scare the sh1t outta me. More often than not, wrong forum posters are newbies and they learn quickly. There aren't too many repeat offenders since you guys do a helluva job frying them when they do it.
We don't get alot of reported posts lately. Only a few certain members. Most of it being ridiculous. So yeah. Help out and hit the report button.
Kewl, I didn't figure that's what you wanted us to do since I never really read that anywhere... :up: Actually, I see mods posting in NEWS threads that are in the JETS forum. That was my original Point. It's one thing for us to "Help Out" but if the mods themselves aren't helping out then no one else is gonna give a damn. I'm not saying they aren't trying but when the new format is already going by the wayside then it seems as that some just don't care...
Its to bad this site even needs Mods to begin with. Can't we all just get along? I know there are some Phins and Pats fans who come here just to be an ass but other than that there is no need for cheap shots and arguements.
