Whoever is advising him should be fired. OBJ needs to ace a prove-it, incident free year to maximize his value. He’s doing nothing but the opposite
All the conflicting noise from the Giants front office and Giants "sources" sound like negotiating strategy. They're gonna trade him; no they're not, etc. They's just letting other teams know that he's available, but that they're not desperate to move him so don't expect a fire-sale price. Man, he's a polarizing figure. He has the talent to be the greatest receiver of his generation, but he seems to be enough of a headcase that he could turn into one of those guys who makes highlight reel catches but disappears in the clutch. It's tough to forget that Green Bay playoff game. If they trade him and he harnesses that immense talent, the Giants will look stupid, but if they pay him and he becomes more of a headcase, they'll look just as bad.
Watching some off these sports shows it's crazy what people think they can get for him....a diva WR coming off an ankle injury threatening to hold out because he wants 20 mil a year is not getting you that much IMO.
Yeah, but there's usually some coach or GM who's willing to gamble big on an ultra-talented headcase.
At least our talented wide receiver headcase ( Robby Anderson) is cheap. Beckham wants starting quarterback money. Lol
The last time maybe was 2007 with Marvin Harrison and Reggie Wayne. Then again, your argument applies cause of Manning, though Manning was pretty average that post-season. Crazy how a QB-WR combos don't lead to more titles.
What I'm wondering is, OBJ is showed in a video smoking a blunt with a mirror full of coke and nobody notices? Johnny Suckball was rolling up a dollar bill in a titty bar and the whole world knew. Double standard? Or was everyone just shocked that Beckham was in the same bed with a woman?
Nah the media gave Manziel a pass on that one also..I remember people acting like a rolled up dollar bill could be used for anything. lol
