Very strange ending in Detroit - it looked like they won on a TD by Tate but they called him down before breaking the plane, which didn't look right to me. Atlanta wins.
There was no greater self evident truth today than if the Texans gave the Pats the ball with a chance to win, whether down by 2 and needing a FG or down 5 and needing a TD, they would get it. 4th and 1 and you have a chance to clinch a game against the Pats, you take that chance. It's simply asinine at this point to give Brady the ball back with a chance to win. Some good having a 5 point lead did for them.
The refs helped out as well, the offensive pass interference call that was so obvious to everyone but the ref was embarrassing, he pushed the defender 5 yards down field.
Chiefs all over the Chargers, as two Rivers INTs are turned into TDs. LAC might be a draft pick threat.
Richard Sherman going bonkers in Tennessee - blatant pass interference that leads to an INT, holding on the INT return, throws off his helmet and screams at the official for an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty. He's lucky that he wasn't thrown out of the game for continuing to scream at the official with his helmet off. Terrible decision by the Titans to not immediately go after him on either of the next two plays.
Rodgers with the pick six, and Bengals now up by two TDs. Amazingly, that's only the second pick six of Rodgers' career.
Sherman not finished. Mariota runs out of bounds and Sherman unloads on him with a cheap shot out of bounds. Should be ejected.
I don't know how they kept him in the game. On that note, I would not want to mess with Taylor Lewan. He looked ready to destroy Sherman. The type of guy that looks like he could hurt you punching you in the helmet. He's awesome. He breaks down every play. Haven't heard this type of insight into the X's and O's maybe ever. That was a touchdown. The Lions got jobbed. And then the NFL reviews the play and mandates a ten second runoff because they decided to review it?! What a terrible rule.
