I know now that I live out of market for the Jets, I almost never watch NFL games at home. I refuse to support the NFL if I can't watch a team in my own state.

They need to get rid of Thursday night games. They start and end too late for the East Coast. And the pussification of the league doesn't help.

Slingtv + Amazon firestick = fuck cable

All of the games are streamed and available in good quality.

The amount of injuries have played a role in the ratings as well. But cable dying first and foremost

I think cord cutting does have an effect, but in my opinion it is the lack of parity that makes me bored to watch. They have changed to rules to favor offense, but instead, it favors the elite. Same faces in the playoffs, minus one or two teams changing. Who is excited to see Pats vs. Steelers again? Not me. I'm tired of only elite quarterbacks having a chance to win. The Jets were more competitive than we thought they'd be, but they were never contenders, so it was a boring year to watch. I'm sure I will put the playoffs on if I'm home doing nothing, but I doubt I go out of my way to watch.

it's all those players taking a knee that has caused this. Since Kaepernick, I only watch extreme pornography and anything starring Guy Fieri.

I wouldn't imagine the two are mutually exclusive?

Being unable to keep even a Times Square tourist trap open, Fieri obviously appears in a brothel episode, no doubt.
