Sorry im not buying it.Hes not the same style receiver to that of Edelman or Amendola. Both of those guys have short area ability both in making catches & moving the chains.Decker is not that sort of player. Hes an intermediate/deep route runner w good hands;and that was in his prime.Hes on fumes at this stage.Hes more of a replacement for Jordan Matthews & quite honestly could be a downgrade.
Definitely my second favorite moment in terms of attending a sports event live (Aaron Boone HR being the first). MetLife was SHAKING.
I am sure Schefter probably did this for the clicks/responses but I can think of a few better QB WR combos, Big Ben and Brown, Ryan and Jones, probably even Goff and Cooks and a few more. Unless Schefter is going queer eye for the straight guy and really means "best looking", I'll have to bow out on rating in that regard.
The Spanish version is far superior, that's why I posted it. TOUCHDOWN NUEVA YORK! I'm surprised he didn't say GOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAL!
Is there something in the water today? Are you Theresa Caputo? Post #433: http://forums.theganggreen.com/thre...rms-coming-in-2019.90369/page-22#post-3709929
Nice to see the Decker signing as we are a little thin at WR right now. He always played well against us when we played his team and he did well with Tenn this last Jan. against the Pats. Wish Mitchell was healthy as i like him a lot. Be interesting to see if Decker makes the team. We may have to keep three TEs and good thing is we do have a few RBs that can catch balls. Too bad Edelman took PEDs or we would have him for the entire season. One silver lining is that he will have 4 less games on his body this year. Should be an interesting year.
I like the Decker signing and we will see if he makes the team. My guess is that the Pats would not use him as a direct replacement in the slot for Edelman or Amendola. They may us a RB in that role and/or a TE. Also, they can change the playbook around till Edelman comes back week 5. Decker did play well against the Pats this last Jan. Also, we are not really looking for him to be a workhorse but perhaps fill out the roster and get some possession catches.
This is a much more reasonable expectation & while i grit my teeth saying this i think he’ll make for a good patriot. Just the talk of him replacing Edelman/Amendola or being a major contributor of any sort for more than a few games is a bit ridic.
Ewwww . . . . https://www.bostonglobe.com/metro/2...ll:trending&s_campaign=bdc:globewell:trending The cake doesn't fit into his diet, lol.
Agreed, i would be surprised if he is a major contributor, unless he is needed, like Edelman goes down and we need Decker to pull an '06 Reche Caldwell and is forced to be the #1 WR, then we will get touches. Otherwise he should be down the depth chart a few pegs. Yes, i think he will be a nice player for our team if he makes the team.
