if raiders hire gruden jets will let him go I say good I was not impressed but dumb ass needs to find a new coordinator. I don’t trust him http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/f...c-john-morton-raiders-staff-article-1.3730152
A Super Bowl winning coach wants our OC but @sec314 is "not impressed". Hmm this is a tough one I can't decide whose opinion to trust here.
McCown did more for Morton than Morton did for McCown. Morton sure didn't help Petty any. Morton constantly picked run plays when this team didn't have the line to do so. I guess all the stability for the sake of stability guys are gonna hate this if it happens. What difference does it make? Rodgers is staying anyway on defense, so atleast we still have that.
You cannot make chicken salad out of chicken shit, but Morton came damn close as the Jets offensive coordinator, which was nothing short of a miracle. He'll do even better with the Raiders which will land him a head coaching gig in about 2 years.
LOL...So fixing Petty is the measuring stick. So Morton has been able to fool Jon Gruden, Sean Payton, Jim Harbaugh and Pete Carroll but not you. I'm glad you are on our side opening up our eyes.
Let's see. Go to the Raiders and coach that offensive talent, or stay and coach the Jets who will bring in another JAG qb after Mac goes Rain Man again and drafts a DE in rd 1 and rd 2.
I haven't heard anything. I was nervous you were being honest about Kacy Rodgers coming back. I immediately googled that shit and started to breathe a sigh of relief when I didn't find any news about Rodgers coming back. Still, I had to make sure and confirm with you.
I didn't mean to imply fix Petty. All he did was call run, run, run. What offensive coordinator #1 offense jobs did he do in the past? He wasn't that good of a play caller this season in my eyes, is all I was trying to say. Did I miss something? Did he take this team to new found heights on offense in one season? I didn't think so. There sure aren't any grounds to say otherwise.
