I foresee a few more cuts coming to Jetland by weeks end. Blaylock,Driessen,Reed,Dearth,

    On the bubble Pennington,Mawae,Kendall.

    Look for Ellis,Robertson,Coles,McCareins to restructure.

Also the offfers for Abe will not allow Mangini to part with an elite defensive end and he remains a Jet

It has been pointed out multple times now that it makes no sense for the Jets to cut Derrick Blaylock at this point in the offseason. He will cost MORE to the Jets if we cut him.

    People who will restructure...
Ellis, Robertson, Coles, Mawae and maybe David Barrett.

PS why the hell would they cut Joel Dreesen? He is only a second year player and was apparently flashing in practice last year.

The Jets won't cut Blaylock unless they see themselves drafting a RB.

Dressen won't be cut, not worth it.

Reed is probably going to be back with the team because they got rid of Legree.

We can't cut Dearth and Dressen. We need a long snapper.

Penny and Kendall are definitaly on the bubble, but just can't get rid of Mawae. He's earned his position and we need to keep veteran presence on the o-line.

Ellis might restructure. Robertson might as well. I could definitaly see McCareins taking a pay cut, but not so much Coles.

I really doubt Abe will be a Jet after April 29th.

You should work for ESPN as an "Insider", seriously.

Why would they cut Dreesen? Also, I think Blaylock is fairly cheap. Cutting guys like that does nothing for us.

Abe is not "an elite defensive end," he's a huge tease. We can afford to part with him. PLEASE. New England found ways to get double digit sacks out of Mike Vrabel. The guy is miffed because he showed up and played 16 games last year. Great, he lit up a TERRIBLE Raiders team down the stretch and he came away with good, not spectacular, sack numbers. Overpaying for defensive ends when you have major needs at DT, QB, OL, and RB is not prudent. He will be effectively replaced. If he's not, we're going to have to be patient. You can't afford to sink that much money into one player when you're in the Jets current situation. They're going to have to cut their losses at this point and start over.

I have it covered now, I don't have to type the Blaylock explanation over and over again.

    Dreesen????
Why cut a guy who makes just above the league minimum, is the long snapper as soon as Dearth gets cut, will be the #2 TE after Jolley or Baker goes and has the potential to become the #1 TE?
But then again you think that we save money by cutting Blaylock.
