Jenny Ventras says Vlad Ducasse will take Moore's spot while this site says Caleb Schlauderaf? I'd rather see Ducasse. It would allow me to make a fish or cut bait final decision on this guy.
Where do you see her say that? It would really be a shame if Moore couldn't go. Just when the o-line seemed to be hitting it's stride I'd hate to lose him.
yeah, they played well the last 2 weeks...... nice to Sanchez actually have protection, and they're a cohesive unit..... a chain only as strong as it's weakest link. I too would also like to see Ducasse in some time at guard..... maybe. It could also lead to the Wayne Hunter we saw at the beginning of the season hmy:
From what I read Moore said he would be ready but Rexwanted him out on the field to check on his conditioning. I hope that he is up for playing. There is no way I want Ducasse in at guard next to Hunter. Mangold will be working overtime to boost Schlauderaf (sp?) but with Big Vlad just not doable IMO. Lack of McKnight affects some explosiveness but Powell and Josh Baker can probably combine to give some different looks and opps. I know Baker is primarily ans STs guy but I'm hoping that his being graded out as a FB/TE he might have some ability to take the odd screen or be a short yardage rubler
Moore being out is a blow. Moore has been really solid as of late. McKnight has not done much over the last few weeks, so that is not as severe a blow. Hopefully Schlauderaf holds up today.
If Ducasse plays in this game in place of Moore I seriously do believe our chances of winning greatly decrease,yes Ducasse is that bad!
if moore is out we lose its that simple chiefs have a good pass rush so they will just line everyone up and attack the right side of the line all day
Ok come on, calm down. Yes its a big blow to the offense to lose Moore, but you are way overreacting. As long as the backup can do a mediocre job at best, we should be ok. Besides Hali, their pass rush is abysmal.
I agree with you 100%, we will not be able to run or pass, but I will tell you right now even if Ducasse is in, we will see MS in shotgun formation and a 4 or 5 receiver set.
