Just read this too, I knew he had a tough back story but wow! Really hope he reaches what ever goals he has as a Jet.

They talked about him a bit when the Jets drafted him. I'm rooting for the kid to do big things with us, we need an OLB worth a damn badly. Plus, it doesn't hurt that it's somebody with some ambition and drive to boot.

Hows he doing with his non-contact concussions? I wouldn't want to play football with a migraine

I really want this kid to succeed. He may be the answer to our OLB problem.

It's hard not to be rooting for Mauldin. I don't think Bowles is a vets-only coach. Rex was that way unless the guy was a coveted early pick but I get the feeling Bowles is more about who will do the best and taking chances. It would have been easier to start Bailey last week and he went with Williams instead. That was a gutsy move in my opinion.

It would be so huge if they guy turns out to be what we've been looking for at olb all these years . I know it's still very early in his career but I am kinda worried he can't even get pace'a ol ass off the field

Unfortunately he's not getting the snaps he deserves behind those two bums (Pace & Coples). Let's hope this changes soon, starting this week.

Also, what's with the numerals all of a sudden? It's become a thing now. Pryor now is "Pryor III" too.

He was getting the snaps until he got injured, maybe they are trying to be ultra careful with him by keeping him on special teams, then slowly increase his playing time as pass rusher.

It's kind of weird that Mauldin isn't getting more of Pace's snaps.

He had an awesome game today. Was in Bortles face the whole day. Definitely defensive MVP in my opinion

I hope he can keep this up. Would be nice to have a good young pass rusher at the OLB position

I absolutely love how low this kid can dip his shoulder and maintain his balance. I think he has beast potential.
