Whats up with the Lions signing our cast offs. First Kerley then Walls now Ridley. To be honest I liked all 3. Sure Kerley Didn't fit in with our coaching staff and we had no room for Ridley. But Walls I was really hoping to re-sign him. I liked his game, he knows our system and was decent on special teams and locker room guy.

Dunno, but it's sure nice to have a team going after our cast offs rather than having us clamoring after other team's cast offs. It's a wonderful change.

Kerley fit the system fine. His misuse for the likes of Enunwa and Kembrell Thompkins was one of the largest coaching oversights of the year. Everyone wants a 6'4 fast strong receiver in the slot but I want the best football player out there.

Unfortunately for the Lions: Megatron was a better WR than Kerley, a better runner than Ridley and had better coverage skills than Walls.

kerley is certifiable trash who will fight just to make that roster

riddley is meh, has some fumbling issues/durability issues

walls is a nice veteran for depth, but we have enough CBs.

if you want the best player out there then you dont want kerley. kerley is not a good football player. which is why he is struggling to hit the field or even stay on a roster.

thompkins isnt great but he is a legit nfl player. so is enunwa. kerley needs to either drastically improve on special teams or he wont stick anywhere

I think there's a place for Kerley in the NFL, he's a solid slot guy, and on this team with this personnel and offense, he just wasn't a fit. Now on the Lions he's going to be on a team where he can certainly get on the roster. Jones and Tate are the top two, then you have Fuller who's been a disappointment, then a cast of who's who including Jet favorite Ryan Spadola ;). Kerley likely will make this roster.

if he does, it will be because of his special teams ability. which is the reason he coudlnt stick here, because he wasnt producing on special teams. im not sure he makes it out of TC

You liked Stephan Ridley? Can I ask why?The guy was brutal whenever he touched the ball,he looked like Shonn Greene if he was playing the day after knee surgery.Kerley and Walls are both mediocre depth guys who will mostly be used on special teams

More Receptions and TD's next year :Jeremy Kerley or Devin Smith?
Answer: Kerley, because he is a WR not a PR.

Devin Smith is [IMG] and will be in Cleveland in 2 more years.

Devin smith easily, because kerley wont be on the field on offense.

I have to disagree with you on this one. IMO Devin Smith won't even see the playing field until at least mid-season and it could be the end of the season before he's ready to contribute. I think Kerley will not only make the Lions but will see a pretty fair amount of action in the slot for the Lions.

Kerley will have 45-50 receptions and 3-5 TDs.

Smith will have likely zero and zero.

If he has a dozen catches and 1 TD we should count our lucky stars.

Riddley has fumbling issues? Have you ever even looked at the guys career stats?
