If my avatar continues the season the way he's been playing he may have down graded himself from fist round sleeper to mid-round steal. Tanner Lee despite the picks would be a nice mid-round pick-up. To be honest we don't have enough talent to be doubling down on QBs in the draft. Stephen Morris is out in the streets right now and could be had pick free.

    Rosen's WRs are killing him.

I agree, as much as I think QB is by far the most critical position, they need too much else - OL, RB, Pass rusher.

I blame the bold more on Lasley. In order for the back shoulder throw to work the WR has to sell the go route. Lasley ran a lazy route as though he didn't think he would get thrown the ball. That allowed the CB to easily play the man while keeping his eyes on the QB.

The best part about that TD pass was that he checked to that play and alerted the WR pre-snap.

Thanks for pointing that out. Re-thinking that play in light of your point makes sense that the WR messed it up, not Rosen.

I really like Rosen's mentality. He's fiery, but doesn't lose control, at least from the little bit I've seen of him so far. I hope A) He stays healthy; B) The Jets grab him.

What an absolute dime from 6 yards deep in his endzone

WOW! Gutsy call, to throw from the end zone to the TE, and right on the money!

That was the easiest 99 yard I've ever seen. Let's go 0-16.

Tight window throw and as I type TD to TE down the seam. I'm sold.

Rosen is a stud. That over the shoulder throw he made to his TE in his own endzone was a thing of beauty.

They just announced over a 1000 yards combined in offense in this game! I know the "D" guys on this board hate this, but damn this sure is entertaining!

It's ridiculous that UCLA is consistently keeping up in these style of games because

    1) they have no run game at all

    2) they don't run a spread-style passing attack

    3) their receivers aren't that great

It takes a special QB to put up these type of point totals outside of a system like Baylor/Texas Tech

This is an old fashioned barn burner! Ferguson isn't Rosen, but he's sure not quitting!

I'm surprised that with all the attention focused on Rosen every play that UCLA couldn't get SOME kind of running attack established. It almost seems like they've eliminated running as part of the "O". Odd.

It's very strange that their play action passing game is so effective when they never even came close to establishing the run
