I agree with your post except Rudolph, Mack should be fired if he drafts Mason Rudolph that high. That would be worse than the Hack selection.
Fitz failure in 2016 was due to the team around Fitz, decker injury, poor team character, players quitting. If McCown ever comes back 2018 he will have a much better team to work with and I wouldn't expect a collapse like Fitz 2016. Doesn't mean I want McCown back, but we would do better with him than Fitz did 2016.
McCown one of the few bright and positive storylines in an otherwise gloomy and overly forgettable NFL season/environment.
McCown keeps getting hit 14 times in a game and this argument will be post mortem. (figuratively speaking of course).
I am surprised he has survived this long. I figured someone would've KO'd him by now with as terrible this offensive line is
McCown having a career year and playing all 16 games when we're supposed to tank is peak Jets. Don't you know our QBs only get hurt when it ruins the season?
McCown named AFC Offensive player of the week http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2017/12/06/josh-mccown-named-afc-offensive-player-of-the-week/ A Jets QB getting offensive player of the week award. Who would've thought? Some trivia on the subject: McCown also won this award in 2015 on Cleveland of all teams, which is nearly an impossible achievement. Brandon Marshall also won this award with the Jets in 2015. Before that though, the last Jet to win the award was Al Toon in 1990!
boy, I know there has been a lot of injuries but McCown as offensive player of the week? that's scraping the bottom of the barrel if I've ever seen it
72% completion rate 331 yds passing 1 passing TD 2 more rushing TD's Many key first downs No turnovers He was the best QB in the league in week 13. That's hardly scraping. I love your salty tears..
I thought Stewart was gonna play much morr than he does...and when he is in the game he is rarely thrown to except for screens. He runs reverses and blocks, i wonder why Hansen has risen and he has seemingly fallen behind in regards to.targets. Earlier in the season Stewart made some highlight catches...now he is rarely targeted down field which can be depressing for a rookie.
They both have five catches. They're being worked in, developed. There's only one ball. Look who's in front of them. There's TE's and RB's getting passes too. You have let these kids transition into the league and adjust. You think it's easy? It's takes time. All the young guys, pretty much, have potential to improve and look pretty good.
