Swallow your pride and sign Dez Bryant, the dude is 29 years old and still has something left in the tank. Its more cancerous to surround Darnold with this depleted WR corps than to sign Dez for the rest of the year. No trade necessary, we keep all our draft picks and get a target for Sam. At the beginning of the year I never thought I'd say it, but get this deal done ASAP for the Dolphins game. Why would we not give a shot at this point?

it's not too bad. nothing stopping us from bringing back robbie (RFA) and enunwa and we could even keep kearse so really just need to add 1 WR there are quite a few on that list that are fine for a WR3 and even a couple that are good WR2 (tate and cobb) i'd like to bring in humprhies he's a solid WR and young and would make a good 4th option

That’s because there’s a collective thought that the draft is a grocery store and gms just push carts through it loading up with what they want.

sadly at this point i agree. didn't want him at all before but when your missing your top 2 WRs for injury and your 4th WR got injured and cut and your so desperate you signed a decent WR that was out of the NFL for week and is now your starter 2 days later and we don't even have a real 3rd WR on the roster. it may be time to bite the bullet to sign him just for this year only

Darnold needs a young athletic #1 WR, who he can potentially play with for several years and hopefully develop some valuable chemistry with. What benefit would a 30+ year old rent-a receiver be to him or the team? The longer the Jets delay in effectively filling the position, the more it will continue to adversely hamper Darnold's development. At this rate, Darnold will = Sanchez

Trade for Odell and sign Bell as a FA and let’s go win.

Here's a novel idea.. Why doesn't Macc convince Bowles we need to draft a WR as high as possible for a change???

Why not? Because he's Dez fucking Bryant. He does not run a full route tree, bitches publicly all the time, and is an off field monster of a personality. With a young team that has a group of young leaders finding their way you don't not bring this asshole into the locker room.

I'll be the first to admit I never thought Pryor was a good idea, but bringing him back might be. I still don't see him as much of a benefit outside of the red zone, but Sam does need some help right now.

Pryor absolutely needs to be brought back if healthy first thing tomorrow morning. He’s a big red zone target and yes he has his faults, but is also better than any other healthy receiver not named Kearse on our roster. Make things easier on Sam, not harder.
