What the fuck? Because Seattle went to the playoffs after going 7-9 their first two years, they were a better built team? Are you fuckin retarded or are you just purposely being stupid? Last I checked, Dee Milliner and Dimitri Patterson are not on the field. Neither is Kyle Wilson or Darrin Walls. So who are the starting corners you are referring to? Ellis Lankster, Lequan Lewis, and Johnny Patrick? You're a genius. Absolute genius.
I have a feeling there are quite a few that will be on our team next week that aren't currently in green and white
It's the last preseason game, it doesn't mean anything much really. But it does reflect depth, even though many guys playing today for both teams will be out of jobs next week. But it does reflect the depth of each team and it's clear to me that some of the guys the Eagles will cut soon are better than some of our better 2nd stringers....okay maybe a slight over statement, but not by much.
Wow your banking on Kyle Wilson and Darrin Walls? I'll give you Dee IF he can stay healthy. As for DP he been on 7 teams in 10 years for a reason.
It's not who I'm banking on. It's your lack of understanding the starting lineup. You just said that the Eagles 2's and 3's are beating up on our starting corners. Whether you trust in the ones I listed or not, they are the starting corners, so who the fuck do you think is on the field tonight? Let me help you: if the starters I listed are not on the field, then the ones on the field are the 2's and 3's. Now, was that so difficult?
Plus look at the teams we play early a lot of them run a 5 WR sets. The ones that don't will when they play the Jets.
Revis has been on three teams in three years does that mean2n he's awful? You stated "I'm pissed that our starting corners are getting lit up by the Eagles", but you failed to realize that none of our starting corners are on the field. What does that statement have to do with banking on Kyle Wilson and Darin Walls? You're not making any sense.
Clearly our late round picks have not shown much to justify a spot tonight. The secondary is getting more and more scary bad. We made Barkley look like a superstar. Having said that, when you are heavy on rounds 5-6 and 7 the attrition rate goes up so you would expect more players to go by the waste side but non the less is not looking very promising for our draft. Saunders and Reilley are about all I can see, may be George. The rest wont even make the practice squad. Shit, it seems like yesterday we were worried about trying to hold on to these guys for the practice squad. Unfortunately for us we might have to be more aggressive canvassing the wire for cuts that we wanted to. Not too much positive out of this game IMHO and a few observations. 1 - Simms and Boyd are wasted spots. 2 - Most all the guys in our secondary tonight deserves a roster spot. 3 - Neither Salas, nor Gates, nor Hill proved they are worthy of a spot at this point 4- Quick tempo, fast striking offenses like Philly and NE will eat our lunch unless we muster some massive rush on the opposing QB. It's canvass the wire time and may be look for a trade time.
Do you have any evidence to back this up? Last time I checked, teams rarely have five Wide Receivers on the field.
Who on the field when teams run 5 wr sets? DP been cut every time because he didn't make the team not money like Revis so there a big difference.
