depends on if they have a truck or shovel and if it's kids, immigrants, or union guys I'd say 50 tops but kids can get it done for 30

Shoveling last night all I can say is that wind was/is brutal. Even today the wind with the temps it sucks. I am looking forward to Monday's heatwave temps of the mid 30's

Wow,it’s unbelievably cold out there. One more day of it and then we start climbing out. 50 and rain by Friday afternoon and then back to a more seasonal temperatures. Maybe a little snow Monday but no to little accumulation.
I have been training myself for the cold. I've been walking the dog at night in just gym shorts, t-shirts and flip flops prior to this recent storm. As a result of this toughening up, the cold does not feel too bad.
out of the freezer tomorrow. first time above freezing in 10 days i believe. big rains friday into saturday, test your basement sump pumps everyone, melting snow and another 1/2-1" of rain can be a problem. no snow on the horizion for a while.

Temps are going to be tough man. Maybe some back end Saturday,maybe. But I think the rain clears then the temps crash a bit
@FJF @jaywayne12 Please help. We are putting our house up for sale and the public open house will be on Superbowl Sunday. The realtor asked us to allow her access the house for both Saturday and Sunday. We decided to take a short trip. Chicago is the city where we became US Citizens. Our social security cards were issued in Chicago. So we decided to take our kids to Chicago. I booked the flight, hotel and car. I paid everything upfront with zero cancellation. Now, how does the weather look for the Superbowl weekend both for Chicago and New York. Flying from La Guardia on 2/2-Friday, coming back from Chicago on 2/5-Monday. I know this is 3 weeks out but how does it look for now?
As for this weekend, could be some ice problems Saturday morning as the storm front pulls out and the cold air rushes in. We’ll go from 50s and thunderstorms on Friday to clear and below freezing before the sun goes down on Saturday.
