you are allover this c, 12z gfs came in even farther south. 6" all the way down to the city, long island an north jersey 3" starting late tomorrow afternoon.

 

Many geeks are now saying they dont see much South of 84----STILL after all these runs do you think I am of base with accumulating snow in the city or even here by me ? I dont but maybe I'm missing something let me know FJAY ps at least we are in the game!

just watched CH 7 ,,,weather guys says north of 84 stays snow but he is not buying in says sloppy travel NW but says rain for the city and LI and ME !

 

Now that I have the Ariens, I don't mind snow. Boys were asking if they could have another snow day. I will tell them uncle FJF said no go. Thanks

Then I watch CH 5 and guy says 0 -2 for LI and the boroughs--->2 --4 for me and 4 -8 for you Fjay,,,,,Im going with the Rgem its been on the money for other events and has stayed the course all along with this. It says snow and very little icing issues,,,,we will see how this plays out but the Hrrr came out a wee bit ago and although I dont love the model (it says snow for everyone including LI ) time will tell ----I hoping for another South West shift tonight

 

hey FjayF are the models AND ME having a hard time distinguishing between Snow and Ice ? Is this more ice than snow?

 

Started as lite sleet here (New City )about an hour ago , it was 30 degrees then and changed over to snow a short while ago and is coming down pretty good now----we shall see

FJAY Thursday storm not dead just yet----I just saw that a weather geek stated that 2 models have picked up on it again----!!!!

 

euro and gfs in agreement right now. we can't get the low out in front of the trough to let it come north. both 12z models show it dead.
i'm at 4" of snow right now and no signs of stopping, radar showing another few hours atleast. impressive little storm
westchester,rockland and nyc look like all ice right now. tough traveling everywhere. be careful everyone

 

switched over to a misty rain now, temps at 33. losing most of what we gained today.

 

well this Thursday thing is almost dead and that sux maybe by some act of god it goes on life support in these next 24 hours but NOT likely ,too bad it could be such a great setup many players in place -------> sux to be a snow lover FJAYF
